Stop 6: The Present Path – Where I Am Now

“With all the aforementioned information said, where is he now, and what goes on?” says Mr. Conductor.

How time flies so fast—it feels like just yesterday when he was deciding on what university and program to enroll in. Here he is, enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, regarded as one of the most important programs in his college, as they are the only board course. He is currently at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University–South La Union Campus, one of the campuses of the globally recognized university.

In the university, he has been doing just fine with his friends along the way. His classmates get along with him, and he has gained friendships even outside his section and across different colleges and programs. He has made memories from San Fernando’s film showing to the Agoo Eco Park, exploring different sceneries not seen before.

He was also involved in a healthy environment in his organizations—the DMMMSU-SLUC Isang Samahang Ideolohiyang Pangsikolohiya (DSLUC-ISIP) with his approachable higher-ups in his committee and the ever-welcoming Dakilang mga Anak ng La Union para sa Matematika, Agham, at Teknolohiya (DALUMAT), where he was exposed to different programs, colleges, and universities.

In his program, he continues to thrive despite challenges. He believes that such hardships he encounters will be instrumental in making him grow even further.

“Definitely. However, what lies beyond the straight line after making a decision from that point? Let us see at our next stop.”
